Friends of Alpine,
Is it just us or are the days getting shorter, and the nights getting colder? Soon the leaves will be falling from the trees.... which means it's almost time for the Annual Children's Halloween Carnival at Alpine Rec Center!Yes, we can tell you all are as excited as we are.
This year Alpine really is in need of our help. Due to the new enforced policy at all State Parks and Rec Centers, all volunteers must be officially pass a background check performed by the City before volunteering. No exceptions.
This means that Alpine is having much more difficulty rounding up enough volunteers who are willing to take the time to go down to the screening location and register as a volunteer. It is free of charge but only open DURING weekdays, which makes it difficult.
With that said, we are praying that 12 of you will be willing to register as volunteers. It is a one time registration that DOES NOT expire. Come help out at Alpine's Children's Halloween Carnival!
PLEASE shoot Daniel Spickard a reply, so he can give you the signed volunteer form to take with you (different from the flyer that is Attached). The paperwork can take 4-5 weeks to process, so we'd really need to go register in the next week (2 weeks, at the latest)!
